This past weekend, our three national divers travelled to Montreal to compete in the Camo International Invitational. In order to qualify for this meet, you needed to be top twelve at nationals in your country. There were divers there from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and the United States to name a few. Our divers did very well with the following results:
Nate Grobe – Nate was diving outside his age group, against divers who were two and three years older than him. He dove on the 1 meter (21 out of 23 divers), 3 meter (18 out of 19) and for the first time ever dove tower (coming 21 out of 23)
Brett Gillis – Brett dove in the B boy category and came 9th (out of 15) on tower and 15th (out of 20) on the 1 meter.
Brett and C.J. dove Synchro and got the BRONZE medal. Way to go boys.
C.J. – C.J. was also in the B boy’s category and came in 8th on every board. Consistency counts!
Congratulations on this meet – and congratulations to Rob – great coaching!
