The Team at Capital City!
In mid-February, it was on to our Nation’s Capital for our Tier II Divers and what a great time they had! The meet was a great success and many of them had time to site see, too.
We had the following results from this meet:
In our D division (divers under 11) we had Nate Grobe win gold on both boards, diving at level I. He received National Qualifying scores on both boards, although it wasn’t a qualifying meet. Ali Moussa received Silver on both boards, diving at level II and Andrew Pinney, also diving at level II received Bronze on both boards.
Raine Mahony competed in girls, level III on 1M and received bronze and she dove 3M for the first time and took silver. Jessica Penner dove level II on 1M and took bronze and won gold on 3M at level III.
In our C age division, 1M, level II, Johnny LePage was fourth, Paul Hewson was fifth and Bradley Muise was sixth. On 1M, level III, Mohamed Moussa took bronze. On 3M, Johnny dove level II and won bronze and at level III, Bradley took sliver, Paul won bronze and Mohamed was fourth.
Our B divers were also victorious. Brawn Mahoney took silver on 1M and gold on 3M and Matthew Weigel won gold on both boards.
In the Masters age group, Curtis Penner competed for the first time and brought home the silver!
