The Tier 1 team were in London last weekend for this annual event and came home with excellent results. We had a few mishaps – like Kevin’s surprise 404C on his 1m list, but also some celebrations - Vicki’s birthday party at the hotel. We missed Andy and his family at this meet but understand that it was time to move on. Andy was a terrific team mate and we know he will succeed at whatever he chooses next.
We saw a few firsts at this competition - Nate competed Open Platform while Sammy dove 3m (D) for the first time. Some scores hit all time highs - Raine, Vicky, Aniko, Sammy and Nate each scored at least one personal best. Some divers took on extra responsibilities - CJ stepped in as assistant coach when Rob was judging a D event.
Up next for the Tier 1 divers is the Quebec Provincials in Montreal or the Ontario Winter Games in Barrie. Good luck to everyone!
