Dryland training is very beneficial to divers, helping them to improve their skill level dramatically. At dryland, divers will have the opportunity to use equipment such as dryboards and trampolines. This equipment allows divers to work on the take-off of their dives. It also gives divers an opportunity to focus on technique with assistance as appropriate. Physical training is an important aspect of dryland training. Divers work on increasing and maintaining their flexibility as well as improving their physical fitness, focusing mostly on muscle groups used most often by divers.
Dryland classes are offered to all levels of divers; however they must be taken in conjunction with pool classes.
