Three of our level I divers travelled to Victoria to compete at the Sting Competition. All three of them had great success at this meet with the following results.
Kate Brechun competed in the Open age group, placing 7th on 1M and 21st on 3M.
Brett Gillis competed in Boys B, placing 5th on 1M, 4th on 3M and 4th on the tower. With his scores he achieved National standards and is qualified to compete at Junior Nationals in July on all boards. Brett also competed in the Open division, taking 13th on 1M, 11th on 3M and 11th on tower.
C.J. Moore competed in Boys B and won gold on 3M, silver on tower and bronze on 1M. On the tower he broke the Sting Standard, surpassing the score by 6 points! C.J. is also qualified for all boards for Junior Nationals! In the Open division, C.J. placed 8th on 1M, 10th on 3M and 7th on tower.
